TWILA: February 5, 2021
SUMMARY
We kick of Black History month with teacakes made by Junius Dillard, who takes us into his kitchen to see how these special delights are made. TWILA’s Neil Melancon show us new initiative taking roots in Baton Rouge, and TWILA’s Karl Wiggers show us what’s In Season at the St. Helena Farmers Market. TWILA’s Avery Davidson walks us through all 136 days of the 2020 sugarcane harvest season. Strawberry season is off to an early start, and we wrap up the show with a fitting TWILA Boost for Super Bowl weekend.
