TWILA: February 12, 2021
In this week’s show, TWILA’s Avery Davidson takes us to Palmetto, Louisiana, where one farmer is converting his land from one use to another, while also helping the environment. A 4-H agent from Ascension Parish shares her perspective, as her students prepare for the State Livestock Show. TWILA’s Karl Wiggers takes us back to the St. Helena Farmer’s Market, where we meet vendors who are selling homemade goods and produces. We learn about how to use all of Louisiana citrus, peel and all, in this week’s Ag Minute, and we have an oyster shell of a Field to Feast, just in time for Valentine’s Day! We wrap up the show with cow art in this week’s TWILA Boost.
