TWILA: May 28, 2021
This week, TWILA’s Avery Davidson show us how Louisiana’s road conditions are hurting Louisiana farmers. TWILA’s Karl Wiggers show us where soybean planting is, and how farmers are persevering through weeks of wet weather. TWILA’s Jennifer Finley takes us to Loranger to meet Ashley Baradell of A&A Acres, a first generation chicken and duck farmer. Our friends at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum give us a lesson on the origins of the ice box, we look at high timber prices and low crawfish prices. A 4-H Star is born in this week’s TWILA Boost, and we have an update on upcoming events for the 99th Annual Louisiana Farm Bureau Convention.
