TWILA: April 30, 2021
This week, we introduce you to the 2021 Louisiana Ag in the Classroom Teacher of the Year, Lisa Wiggins. She may look familiar, but we won’t spoil anything! We bring you to Vermilion Parish, where one farmer is providing food to people, and habitats for birds every day. 600 of Louisiana 4-H’s youth was on target at their Annual State Shooting and Sporting event and we have the highlights. Forestry is one of the top commodities in Louisiana, and we take you to Grosse Tete to meet an artist who has a passion for cypress. We switch gears and head to Riverside Coney Island in Monroe — where you’ll find so much karaoke and crawfish, you couldn’t ask for a better Louisiana Saturday Night! Speaking of, we have the latest crawfish prices, and we end the show with some funny farm animals in this week’s TWILA Boost!
